Thanks for your post Dan. I’m always looking out for a good deal. I can’t help but think that those lower priced phones can do just as good a job as the expensive ones. I bought a pair at Radio Shack that were awesome. Cost about $20!
Thanks again for your posts and please come back!
I would love to get a new detector. Of course the most expensive one out there!
Teddi´s last blog ..Added some hyper links to my lensography…
I’m with you Teddi. My “dream detector”: Minelab E-Trac. I’m on my 3rd Minelab right now. Love ‘em.
Hey folks, I have had several high priced pin pointers over the yeears, recently killed my good one. found another at harbor frieght, under $15.00, the darn thing works great, has the same or better range than the expensive one I broke. even has variable sens. just thought might be something you could use. let me know what you think

Thanks JW…I’ve read some pretty good things about the Harbor Freight pinpointer. Some folks have mentioned having to open them up to adjust the sensitivity pots, but that’s pretty easy.
I’d like to know if anyone has found them in-stock at their local Harbor Freight?
